Xiaomi launched MIUI 12.5, know what's new and which devices will get the update first.

Xiaomi on Monday announced the launch of the flagship smartphone Mi 11 as well as its new custom Android skin MIUI 12. This is an update of MIUI 12. This update may not be called MIUI 13 but it is a major update. It has a better privacy. Also, according to the company's claim, it is more light and fast than MIUI 13. Apart from this, it will also get better connectivity with the Windows system.
In MIUI 12.5, the overall look and fill of the skin has been improved. Xiaomi has said that the new MIUI will get very few system apps compared to Apple, Huawei, Oppo, Vivo and Meizu. The apps already in MIUI 12.5 will only be Settings, Camera and Phone apps.
The company has informed that the system UI has been rewritten and it has been designed to reduce memory usage by 20 percent. Along with this, Xiaomi has also claimed that new changes will reduce background memory usage by 35 percent. MIUI 12.5 users will also get a new dynamic wallpaper based on the highest peak of Four Sisters Mountain in Sichuan, China. This dynamic wallpaper will change according to the weather around you. Also, MIUI 12.5 will prevent apps from accessing your location, private data saved passwords and clipboard.
Which phones will get MIUI 12.5?

Many of Xiaomi's phones are eligible for the first closed MIUI 12.5 beta. These include the Mi 10 series and the Redmi K30. Also the names of Mi 9 lineup and Redmi Note 7 variants are also included in the list.
Xiaomi's 21 devices are eligible to receive MIUI 12.5 updates in the first batch. The Mi flagship series includes the names of Xiaomi Mi 10, Xiaomi Mi 10 Pro, Xiaomi Mi 10 Ultra and Xiaomi Mi 10 Youth Edition. Talking about the K30 series, updates will be given in Redmi K30, Redmi K30 5G, Redmi K30 Pro 5G, Redmi K30i 5G, Redmi K30S Ultra and Redmi K30 Ultra.
The Mi 9 series will get updates in Xiaomi Mi 9, Xiaomi Mi 9 SE, Xiaomi Mi CC9e and Xiaomi Mi CC9 Pro. Also, Redmi K20, Redmi K20 Pro, Redmi 10X 5G, Redmi 10X Pro 5G, Redmi Note 9 5G, Redmi Note 7 and Redmi Note 7 Pro will also get updates. Let us tell you that many more devices will also get the update of the new MIUI. But they will not be part of the first batch.

AIBE 18 Results: 51.63% Fail Rate Revealed in BCI's RTI Reply
