PM Modi unveils 6G test bed: What it is; 6G speed vs 5G and more

Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi launched the 6G research and development (R&D) test bed and announced the Bharat 6G vision document. The 6G R&D test bed will pave the way for faster adoption of the new technology in India. The Bharat 6G vision document, prepared by the Technology Innovation Group on 6G (TIG-6G), states that while 5G offers speed up to 10,000 Mbps, 6G will provide ultra-low latency with speeds up to 1 terabit per second. India has more than 127 global patents for 6G technology and aims to launch 6G by the end of the decade.
