India has the fastest 5G rollout in the world with 2 lakh base stations set up within eight months of launching the service, according to Sunil Mittal, founder and Chairman of Bharti Enterprises. Speaking at a conclave on 9 years of the Narendra Modi government, Mittal said that India is the most advanced country in the world in telecoms and that by March 2024 it will have 5G connectivity across the country.
