Apple has ‘killed’ this once-popular app: All the details

Apple has discontinued its iTunes Movie Trailers app, which was first released in 2011. The app allowed users to watch trailers for upcoming movies and TV shows, as well as purchase or rent content from the iTunes Store. The app is no longer available for download, but existing users can still use it. Apple's decision to discontinue the app is part of its consolidation of media apps, with the Apple TV app now serving as the primary destination for movie and TV show trailers. In 2019, Apple discontinued the iTunes app for Mac and split its functionality into separate Music, Podcasts, and TV apps.
