Google vs US government: Google CEO Sundar Pichai tells court why the company pays billions to Apple

Google CEO Sundar Pichai defended Google's practice of paying Apple and other tech companies to make Google the default search engine on their devices in the US antitrust case. Pichai stated that the goal was to enhance the user experience and make it easier for people to access Google. He also mentioned that the payments were intended to encourage phone manufacturers to make security upgrades and other improvements.
