OpenAI has announced that Sam Altman, the fired CEO, will be returning as the CEO of the company. This comes after speculation that Altman and co-founder Greg Brockman may join Microsoft to lead a new AI research lab. OpenAI has also appointed a new board of directors. Amidst this, hundreds of OpenAI employees threatened to quit and join Microsoft.
