Here's the 'big 5G update' government shared in the Parliament

The government provided an update on the 5G rollout in India, stating that as of November 24, 2023, 5G networks have been rolled out in 738 districts across the country. A total of 3,94,298 base stations have been installed, and approximately 100 million subscribers are using 5G services. Telecom service providers have made a significant investment of Rs 2 lakh crore, including Rs 1.5 lakh crore for spectrum acquired through auction.
