How to check active mobile numbers registered on your name

Identity theft poses risks to individuals and national security as more services go digital. Stolen identities are used to obtain mobile numbers for illegal activities. The government has launched a web portal called TAFCOP to help users check and report unknown numbers registered under their personal identification. Users can deactivate unauthorised numbers and register with their ID. To check if your ID has been used for a SIM card purchase, visit the TAFCOP website, enter your mobile number, request OTP, login, and view the list of registered mobile numbers.
