Amid Junior Doctors' Strike, West Bengal Appoints New Directors for Medical Education and Health Services
The West Bengal government has removed Dr Kaustav Nayak and Dr Debasish Halder from their posts as Director of Medical Education and Director of Health Services. This decision was made after Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee met with junior doctors, who have been protesting for 39 days over the rape-murder of a postgraduate trainee doctor.
