Bar Council of India mandates criminal background checks, biometric attendance, installing of CCTVs in all law institutes: Official notice here

The Bar Council of India has issued new regulations for law students to ensure integrity in the legal profession. Students must undergo criminal background checks and declare their academic and employment status. Compliance with attendance rules is also required. Institutions failing to enforce these measures will face disciplinary actions.
