TRB to organize State Eligibility Test with online option, minister Govi Chezhiaan states

Tamil Nadu’s Higher Education Minister, Govi Chezhiaan, confirmed that the Teachers Recruitment Board (TRB) is fully equipped to conduct the State Eligibility Test (SET), supported by university professors. The government has authorized the TRB to organize the exam while ensuring it adheres to UGC norms. The Minister also discussed the possibility of conducting the SET online with assistance from the Tamil Nadu e-Governance Agency. Since its establishment in 1987, the TRB has successfully recruited over 168,000 teachers and scholars.
