CBSE schools to establish skill labs for experiential learning aligned with NCF-SE 2023 guidelines

The Central Board of Secondary Education has directed all affiliated schools to establish Composite Skill Labs to strengthen vocational and skill-based learning. The initiative aligns with NEP 2020 and NCF-SE 2023, making practical education a core component of schooling. Schools must create dedicated lab spaces with specified infrastructure. New institutions must comply immediately, while existing schools have until August 22, 2027. Detailed guidelines outline equipment, safety norms, and operational measures for effective implementation.
