Google may be getting into games again this time on YouTube

Google's YouTube is testing a new feature called 'Playables' to introduce online gaming to the platform. The feature allows users to play games within YouTube's web or mobile applications and includes shareable games like Stack Bounce. Details about the project are scarce, and it is unknown whether the games will be available to all users or only those with a Premium subscription. This move comes after Google shut down its consumer gaming service, Stadia, due to lack of user engagement. Hosting online games on YouTube is a strategy to explore new growth opportunities.
