Amazon and Flipkart Diwali sale: Dates, deals and more of one of the biggest event of the year

Amazon and Flipkart have announced the dates for their annual festive sales, the Amazon Great Indian Festival sale and Flipkart's Big Billion Days sale. Both sales will start on October 8, with Amazon preponing its original start date of October 10 to match Flipkart. Other retailers like JioMart and Tata Neu are also expected to offer attractive deals. The festive season sales are crucial for these companies as they account for a significant portion of their annual sales. Ecommerce sales during the festive season are projected to grow 18-20% to around $11 billion, with over 140 million online shoppers. Expect discounts of up to 90% on various products, particularly on smartphones and electronics.
