Education Budget 2025: Rs 500 cr allocated for 3 centres of excellence in AI, IITs and medical colleges to see expansion

A Rs 500 crore investment will establish three Centres of Excellence in AI, while the expansion of IITs will include 5,000 new seats and infrastructure upgrades. Additionally, 75,000 new medical seats will be added over the next five years. The Budget also introduces skill development centres, Atal Tinkering Labs, and digital initiatives, marking a major step toward creating a future-ready workforce in India.
